چکیده
Along with the increasing requirement for efficient organic conversions using green chemistry, there is a need to develop highly and eco-friendly catalytic reaction systems. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)-based nanocatalysts are promising candidates reduction of environmental pollutants, such as nitroaromatics dyes. This study reports on synthesis AuNPs Carpobrotus edulis (C. edulis) fruit aqueous extract (CeFE) their activities. The CeFE induced rapid gold (III) salt form monodispersed spherical AuNPs, core hydrodynamic sizes 40 108.7 nm, respectively. alone had no effect 4-nitrophenol, whereas incubation methylene blue (MB) caused peak at 665 nm. Addition CeFE-AuNPs in presence NaBH 4 , 4-nitrophenol 4-AP, MB leucoMB within 10 min. These reactions followed pseudo first-order kinetics. Therefore, biogenic could be used elimination noxious pollutants.

Catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol with gold nanoparticles synthesized by caffeic acid
In this study, various concentrations of caffeic acid (CA) were used to synthesize gold nanoparticles (CA-AuNPs) in order to evaluate their catalytic activity in the 4-nitrophenol reduction reaction. To facilitate catalytic activity, caffeic acid was removed by centrifugation after synthesizing CA-AuNPs. The catalytic activity of CA-AuNPs was compared with that of centrifuged CA-AuNPs (cf-CA-Au...

CO(2)-switchable gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were prepared by functionalizing AuNPs with CO(2)-switchable polymers. Their dispersion-re-dispersion in and separation from aqueous solution can be easily and reproducibly adjusted by CO(2) bubbling through and removal from the solution, enabling unique CO(2) controllable, efficient in situ recycling of NPs. As compared to non-functionalized AuNPs, t...
